  • Why should I have my carpets cleaned?
    Your carpet’s life can be extended just from a routine professional cleaning. Many carpet manufacturers require this when it comes to satisfying the integrity of their warranties. When cleanings are avoided, your susceptible to holding in even more dust, dirt, dander and allergens. Getting regular cleanings can restore the original look and luster of your carpet.
  • How often should I have my carpets cleaned
    The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) suggests that homeowners clean their carpets every 3-6 months. If you have kids, pets or if someone in your home has asthma or allergies, it’s advisable to do it even more frequently. Regular cleaning will not only improve your home’s appearance, but it will eliminate germs and allergens, improve your home’s indoor air quality and extend the life of your carpeting.
  • Does Carpet Cleaning Make Your Carpets Wear Faster?
    Not at all; it can be quite the opposite. The buildup of dirt and other soil acts like an abrasive to your carpet, and wears it down. Carpet Cleaning actually restores life, color and volume to your carpets and fabrics.
  • What do I need to do before my appointment?
    1. You should move all the furniture you would like us to clean under. 2. You should pick up any loose items off your carpet 3. For best result we also ask you to vacuum the areas needing to be cleaned.
  • How Long Until I Can Walk On My Carpets?
    You can walk on your carpets as soon as we walk out the door, but we recommend a very limited traffic path until it’s entirely dry. On flat surfaces, like tile and hardwood, be careful when wet, because it will be slippery.
  • Can all stains be removed?
    It depends on the stain. Some are difficult or simply impossible to completely remove, but we always use advanced stain removal processes that are not available over-the-counter. Our success rate on stain removal is very high for all different kinds of stains.
  • Do I have to move my furniture?
    Yes. We do not move furniture, so we ask that you move any furniture you would like us to clean under prior to our arrival.
  • How long will my carpet take to dry?
    A number of factors will determine how long your carpet takes to dry. Warm air helps the carpet fibers dry faster. If it’s cold out, turn up your heating and turn on a fan directed at the floor. On the other hand, if it’s a warm day, turn your AC off, open your windows, and turn on one or more fans directed at the carpet. Either option will create movement of warm air that will help speed up evaporation and lessen the time needed for your carpet to dry completely. Keep people and pets off newly cleaned carpets. As much as possible, don’t walk on the carpet until you’re sure it’s dried properly. Walking on the carpet may flatten fibers and increase drying time. If you absolutely have to walk on it, for whatever reason, make sure to wear clean, white cotton socks or a pair of house slippers that don’t go outside and take the shortest route possible. Don’t move furniture back. Any furniture situated on top of your carpet that’s been moved prior to cleaning should stay where they are while the carpet dries. On the other hand, if professional carpet cleaning technicians put something under your furniture to keep them off the carpet, don’t touch or remove them; again, wait until the carpet has dried.
  • How long does it take for furniture to dry?
    Usually, the furniture dries within just a few hours, but in some cases it may take overnight to fully dry depending on the fabric and soil condition.
